Ciste Dhubh

The second Munro of the week and the penultimate of the final 15 brought with it some spectacular weather. We were treated to views for miles in all directions for the duration of the walk, including views of two of our previous Munros; A’ Chràlaig and Mullach Fraoch-choire.

A straightforward walk through the glen to the base of Ciste Dhubh offered a good path, and no real problems, other than some muddy boots!

From here we ascended more quickly, and were soon met with some very steep drops on both sides of the path, which wasn't everyone's cup of tea; but it was never going to stop us from ticking this one off and moving on to our last Munro; Sgòr na h-Ulaidh.
