Our second Munro brought together the whole Choat clan! A week spent on the banks of Loch Ness with the whole family allowed us access to several of the outstanding Munros in the area.
The initial 500m ascent was a long slog up a steep, wet and muddy slope, and was a real baptism of fire on this walk! It was slow going, but once the gradient eased off, we were rewarded with some great views. The remaining ascent to the summit was very enjoyable. Nothing too testing and nice enough at the top to sit and enjoy a well earned lunch break before continuing on to Munro number two of the day; Mullach Fraoch-choire.
